GosNIIAS Members of the delegation at the International Airshow «Farnborough-2016»
25 August 2016 GosNIIAS delegation headed by Academician E.A.Fedosov visited the International Airshow «Farnborough-2016» which took place at London suburbs on 11-15th of July 2016.

The FGUP «GosNIIAS» delegation members got acquainted with the exposition of the exhibition including much talked-of American fifth-generation fighter aircraft F-35 Lightning II produced by American company Lockheed Martin, new airliners Boeing 737 Max and Bombardier CS100. Special attention was drawn to the show-floors of the partner firms: for instance, on the exposition of the biggest industrial group Thales our specialists saw integrated complex of the helicopter on-board equipment and tactic level training systems. GosNIIAS workers also visited Russian participants of the Aviation Salon: exhibition floor of the Irkut Corporation, where the cabin of the MC-21 aircraft was presented as well as the exhibition grounds of Russian Helicopters and United Aircraft Corporation. The institute’s specialists got acquainted with the exhibited by Russian side turbofans for SaM146 for SuperJet 100 and PD-14 for MS-21. Also, they discussed with the colleagues the developments in the field of the aeronautical research, the surveillance systems, manufacturing and maintenance operation systems of the aviation equipment.

During the Aviation Salon several successful negotiations were conducted with the GosNIIAS long standing partners concerning extension of cooperation within the joint projects. On the meeting with Thales experts discussed the issues of the collaborative work in the field of the on-board equipment and the development of a pilot’s tablet. Moreover, there was a meeting with the international corporation Esterline: the negotiations were focused on the issues of the aircraft on-board equipment development.
